Patient and Family Advisory Council

In an effort to continue improving its quality of care, Decatur Health has created a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). On the council will be community advisors who will be asked to serve alongside health care staff to ensure multiple perspectives and experiences are both heard and integrated into improving quality of care.

  • Someone who wants to help and improve the quality of our hospitals care for all patients and family members.
  • Gives feedback to the hospital based on their experience as a patient or family member.

Contact Cherish at the contact information below to learn more on how you can be involved in Decatur Health’s PFAC.

Being a patient and family advisor may be a good match with your skills and experience if you can:

  • Speak up and share suggestions and potential solutions to help improve hospital care for others.
  • Work alongside others who may be different than you and have different opinions.

An advisory council discusses, and plans changes to improve hospital quality and safety.
