Did you know that you can still have your radiology exams done here if you see a provider outside of Decatur Health? Call us to schedule your radiology exams; all we need is an order!
CT SCAN
Computed Tomography (CT) services are available 24 hours a day per order of a provider. All CT exams done at this facility are sent to PRS for a radiologist to interpret.
LOW DOSE CT LUNG SCREENING
CT scanning combines special x-ray equipment with sophisticated computers to produce multiple, cross-sectional images or pictures of the inside of the body. Low-dose CT or LDCT uses less ionizing radiation than a conventional CT scan.
Individuals who have a high risk of developing lung cancer but no signs or symptoms of the disease undergo LDCT scanning of the chest.
