Human Resources Director
Lindsey Osterhaus currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Decatur Health. As HR, she is responsible for managing Decatur Health’s most valuable assets- its employees. Lindsey provides day-to-day leadership and HR functions in strategic planning, compliance requirements, growing our organization, employee development, talent management, and preparing for the future. Lindsey is also active on the Planning and Activities Committee, Marketing Committee, and Golf Committee.
Lindsey is a 2004 Decatur Community High School graduate who attended Washburn University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2008.
A valid Kansas LPN license is required. Monday-Friday (8 AM-5 PM) with a Saturday rotation (9 AM-Noon). This position works as part of the clinic provider team and assists Providers in the provisions of primary health care.
Flexible schedule—14 days per month or 168 days annually, with 24/7 coverage during scheduled days. Key Responsibilities: Provide Emergency Room (ER) On-Call Coverage, Deliver comprehensive care to hospital inpatients including acute, swing bed, and observation inpatients, Assist with Outpatient Clinic Duties, including Friday Afternoon Clinic (as part of 24/7 coverage) and Saturday Morning Walk-In Clinic (9:00 AM–12:00 PM, as part of 24/7 coverage). Qualifications include: Nurse Practitioners (NP): Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or Physician Assistants (PA): Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, Board certification is required. Active and unrestricted licensure in the state of Kansas (or eligibility to obtain licensure), Minimum of one year of experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Inpatient Care (preferred) and Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Valid Kansas state licensure or certificate as a PTA. This position includes inpatient and outpatient settings.
Main duties include upkeep of the physical plant and all work areas; monitoring, inspecting, repairing, testing, and maintaining building systems and equipment. This position is also responsible for assisting in outdoor grounds including snow removal and lawn mowing. This position participates in an on-call weekday, weekend, and holiday rotation.
High school diploma or equivalent required. A certified nursing assistant (CNA) registry is preferred but not required. Shifts are 6pm-6am. This position participates in a weekend and holiday rotation.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior knowledge and experience of medical terminology and insurance are required. Some duties include insurance credentialing, pre-authorizations, assisting with fulfilling medical records requests and being responsible for accurate and complete review of the medical records of discharged hospital patients.
Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program and a Kansas State LRT license is required. Must be ARRT certified. This position participates in a rotating on-call schedule.
